Last updated: July 2026

Where is Senduler based and where is data stored?

  • Operator: Adam Williams, operating Senduler — Toronto, Ontario, Canada
  • Infrastructure: United States — form submissions and account data on IONOS Cloud VPS, US; uploaded files on IONOS Cloud Object Storage (United States)

Every form submission is processed and stored in the United States, regardless of where the visitor lives.

Can EU or UK agencies use Senduler?

Yes, with appropriate safeguards. Senduler provides on all plans:

Senduler does not rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (that applies to certified US organisations). A Canadian operator (Toronto, Ontario) with US hosting uses SCCs as the primary mechanism.

You remain responsible for your own lawful basis, privacy notices, and any Transfer Impact Assessment your organisation requires.

Can Canadian agencies use Senduler?

Yes. Under PIPEDA you must inform users that personal information may be stored outside Canada (in the United States). Use our customer privacy snippet on your site.

Senduler remains accountable for safeguarding personal information transferred across borders.

Can US agencies use Senduler?

Yes. Data is stored in the United States. Disclose Senduler as your form processor in your privacy policy.

How do I reduce copies of personal data?

  • Enable link-only notification mode on sensitive forms — owner emails contain a dashboard link, not field values
  • Note: auto-responders, Slack webhooks, and generic webhooks may still include field values
  • Configure retention to auto-delete submissions after your chosen period

What do I need on my website?

  1. Privacy notice naming Senduler as processor
  2. Disclosure that data is stored in the United States
  3. Retention period matching your Senduler client settings
  4. Contact details for data subject requests
